Who we are

Lincoln Gardens is located in the Qu’Appelle Valley near Lumsden Saskatchewan. Lincoln is a vegetable, herb, pumpkin and u-pick berry farm. We market our products at the Regina Farmer’s Market and on our farm in the Corn Maiden Market, a garden centre and country market. We also sell the products of other local producers in our on farm store such as valley made honey, jams, pickles, baking, and organic eggs.

The farm has been growing for decades but Wayne started operating it in 1987. Wayne is a 3rd generation market gardener who has lived in the Lumsden-Craven area his entire life. Wayne is responsible for the production side of the operation. He selects the plant varieties, plants the seeds in late February-early March, and organizes the labour necessary to operate the farm. He will most likely be found in the field until 9 or 10pm doing land-work or checking irrigation. If you do see him he will have a crew of dogs at his side!

Kim, who was raised on a grain farm, came on the scene a few years ago after working in the non-profit sector for many years. Kim is responsible for the marketing and retail side of the business. Kim operates the u-pick berry fields, does the school tours, and organizes the staff that work at the on-farm store. Kim is also responsible for doing the purchasing for the gift shop and running the vendor stall at the Regina Farmer’s Market. She will most often be found at the farm-gate store, working a cash register, stocking shelves or talking to children about pumpkins.

We are passionate about food, sustainable farming and providing healthy vegetables and fruits to our customers. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our farming operation and welcome questions or suggestions from our customers.
